Balancing our inner world and outer life is a challenging task. From the moment we wake up, we play a highly individual game of arranging, negotiating, matching, and discarding between the reality within us and the reality we encounter.

Our perception is dual, and it can lead us to a paradox or perfect harmony. Every moment we pass through the negotiation process all over again. The desires, assumptions, interests, and moral agendas of our inner world inform the reality we aim to achieve. However, our senses report back on what is happening outside our body, adding complexity to the question of which reality is true and which takes precedence.

The juggling of these realities might seem erratic, nervous, and uncertain, but one thing is for sure: no battle can be won, and no friction can be avoided. Nevertheless, there is always a gain to be achieved. Perhaps, by embracing a super-reality that encompasses all the little parallel universes, we can find a path towards greater harmony and balance.
